I'm having fun working on my project

I'm not sure if I'm progressing or regressing.  But I have been spending time on project Camaro.

Here's where I am now:

The plan is to drop the subframe, clean everything up, and lay down a chassis coating.  Perhaps POR 15, or some other rust encapsulating, durable coating.

Speaking of paint, look at the Camaro's original paint -- placer gold I believe it's called.  It's holding up a lot better than the red stuff on there now.

Probably will be installing a new wiring harness.  American Autowire or Painless Performance (except for the $800 hole in the wallet).

Firewall bulkhead looking a little bleak
On a positive note the undercarriage doesn't have any apparent issues.  Very little rust and certainly no rust-through.

Transmission tunnel

under the passenger seat

Passenger side, looks fine
Driver side, smashed down 1/2 inch

There is a possible problem on the front frame rails.
